I don't believe piracy is ever going to hurt the movie industry, but I do think the buzz toward remakes and low quality movies will affect that is a. Eventually, people might be more enthusiastic about the old classic movies instead of the mediocre formulas which can be filling the screens these days. The major Hollywood studios will forfeit more to competition from foreign films and independent films that they will from piracy.
